Yesterday, we went back to the ENT for E’s 4 month check-up. This marks 6 months since her last sinus surgery in which polyps were removed. While we waited for the doctor, the nurse prepped everything for the long scope up the nose. She said the doctor had ordered the scope since one hadn’t been performed since E’s surgery. The ENT walked in and looked up E’s nose with the otoscope. She exclaimed, “I don’t think I even need to use the long scope. Your nose looks wonderful! I can’t see any polyps or mucus.” Everyone, most especially me, was all smiles! We made a follow-up appointment for 6 months from now, which will be 1 year post-surgery. Let’s all hope and pray that we can make it to that appointment without any problems.
I think the Salt Booth is working!!! We still do a 30 minute treatment almost every day. My mom, who has chronic sinusitis, has another sinus infection and she actually has now grown a polyp. I told her from now on, every day that she is in town, she must do a salt treatment! I’ll let you know if she has any improvement in her symptoms.
